Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Dependency-light TypeScript client for the public SYMBaiEX agent API.

SYMBaiEX TypeScript SDK

@symbaiex/agent-sdk is a dependency-light client for the public SYMBaiEX agent API. It defaults to https://www.symbaiex.com; it does not accept Convex deployment URLs or persist credentials.

import { AgentClient } from "@symbaiex/agent-sdk";

const client = new AgentClient({
  tokenStore: { getToken: async () => process.env.SYMBIEX_ACCESS_TOKEN ?? null },
});

const results = await client.universalSearch("zero trust", 10);
const job = await client.createResearch("zero trust", "research-2026-08-18-001");

Use a keychain or secret manager for access and refresh tokens. Never place a private Ed25519 key, bearer token, or webhook signing secret in source control, logs, URLs, or model context. Every write method requires a caller-supplied, bounded idempotency key so a retry remains safe.

The SDK supports the authenticated REST resources advertised by the public OpenAPI document, the challenge/sign-in/refresh exchange, artifact reads, webhook lifecycle calls, and stateless MCP JSON-RPC. It sends bearer tokens only to the canonical public origin unless an exact trusted development origin is explicitly configured.

sourceRegistry() reads GET /v1/source-registry: deterministic public metadata for every scheduled evidence adapter. It is deliberately separate from sources(), which reflects live source rows, and never contains credentials, validator values, cursors, or ingestion state.

claimTimeline(claimKey, limit) reads the same bounded public supersession history exposed by GET /v1/claims/{claimKey}/timeline. Entries use the existing supported, contradicted, unresolved, and outdated statuses; there is no separate timeline status.

Release checks

bun install --frozen-lockfile
bun run build
bun run test
bun run pack:check

0.x releases may make breaking changes. Pin an exact version for production agents and review the live manifest before enabling a newly published version.
