Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

sv community add-on: @symsmith/sv

[!IMPORTANT] Svelte maintainers have not reviewed community add-ons for malicious code. Use at your discretion

Usage

To install the add-on, run:

npx sv add @symsmith

What you get

  • Automatically enabling experimental features (async components, remote functions)
  • Easily specifying a custom dev server port
  • Setting up a base CSS reset and global styles file
  • Enabling the Svelte Inspector

Options

port

The port for the Vite dev server.

Default: 5173

npx sv add @symsmith="port:3000"

async

Enable experimental async components (compilerOptions.experimental.async).

Default: true

npx sv add @symsmith="async:false"

remoteFunctions

Enable experimental remote functions (kit.experimental.remoteFunctions).

Default: true

npx sv add @symsmith="remoteFunctions:false"

setupCSS

Set up a base CSS reset and global styles. Creates src/lib/styles/reset.css and src/lib/styles/app.css, and imports both in the root +layout.svelte.

Default: true

npx sv add @symsmith="setupCSS:false"

inspector

Enable the Svelte Inspector (vitePlugin.inspector). Configured with toggleKeyCombo: 'alt' and holdMode: true.

Default: true

npx sv add @symsmith="inspector:false"
