Visit Invitations & Permits — Falcon micro-app demo

One command, from nothing to a running app:

npx @t2falcon/visit-permits-demo

It puts the app in Visit-Invitations-Demo on your Desktop, installs both halves, starts them, opens the browser, and prints the Falcon manifest entry.

Sign in with manager / Falcon@Visits2026 — also employee, security, admin, same password.

What it is

A ministry visitor-permit workflow, built as a real Falcon micro-app on the published @t2falcon design system. A requester submits a visitor request; a Manager approves it; a Security Manager approves it; the system issues the entry permit over WhatsApp to the visitor and to the gate officer. Security then verifies the visitor at the gate against the approved date, time and gate number — refusals and overrides are all recorded.

WhatsApp sending is simulated. The permit messages render exactly as they would be delivered, but no phone is contacted, so the demo works offline and needs no Falcon environment, no credentials and no accounts.

Arabic-first, with an English toggle; the whole app flips to right-to-left.

What it needs

Node.js 20 or newer, and ports 4320 (app) and 4601 (API) free. The first install pulls an Angular toolchain, so allow a few minutes.

Putting it inside Falcon

falcon-manifest-entry.json lands next to the app and holds the module-federation entry, one block per environment. Merge the dev block into the host's manifests — they are a keyed object, not an array — and grant a PES rule for view on microapp.falcon-microapp, or the shell returns 401 before the app loads.
