antigravity-mcp-server
An MCP server that wraps the Google Antigravity CLI (agy) so any MCP client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, etc.) can query Gemini-successor models through your local agy install.
Google is retiring the Gemini CLI on June 18, 2026 and replacing it with the Antigravity CLI (
agy). This server is the spiritual successor togemini-mcp-serverfor that new CLI.
Why
agy runs headlessly (agy -p "<prompt>") and authenticates with your existing Google account OAuth (stored in ~/.gemini). This server simply exposes that headless mode as MCP tools — no extra API keys, it rides your existing subscription.
Install
Requires the Antigravity CLI (agy) installed and logged in:
agy -p "say pong" # should print: pongRegister with Claude Code
claude mcp add antigravity-cli -- npx -y @talabisaac/antigravity-mcp-serverOr add it manually to your MCP config:
{
"mcpServers": {
"antigravity-cli": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@talabisaac/antigravity-mcp-server"]
}
}
}If agy is not on the spawned process's PATH, set its absolute path:
{
"mcpServers": {
"antigravity-cli": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@talabisaac/antigravity-mcp-server"],
"env": { "AGY_CLI_PATH": "/home/you/.local/bin/agy" }
}
}
}Tools
