Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Voice memos, dictations, screenshots, and screen clips — from the terminal.

Talkie is a voice-first productivity suite for macOS. This package is the official CLI: query your local library, pipe paths into agent workflows, install/upgrade the app, and pair iPhone/iPad companions.

Built for humans in a terminal and agents in a loop. Pretty tables in a TTY; JSON when piped.

Install

Requires Bun ≥ 1.0 and macOS. Talkie.app is needed for local data (talkie install).

Tips

  • ID prefixes — talkie memos a1b2 matches any ID starting with a1b2
  • --since — relative (7d, 24h, 30m) or absolute (2026-06-01)
  • Agents — prefer --paths and --json for stable machine-readable output
  • jq — talkie memos --since 7d --json | jq '[.[] | {title, summary}]'
