Connection: an API token (starts with sk_live_) from your Subscribr dashboard settings. Grant it the abilities you need — intel:read, intel:write, scripts:read, scripts:write, channels:read, thumbnails:read, thumbnails:write, webhooks:read, webhooks:write. Sent as Authorization: Bearer <token>.

Plan gate: API access requires Subscribr's Automation plan or above — lower plans get 403 API access not available. Webhook registration additionally requires a team admin token. Both cases surface an explanatory error rather than a bare 403.

Notes

• The docs' "Base URL" field reads subscribr.com, but every curl example on the same page and the working host are subscribr.ai. This piece uses https://subscribr.ai/api/v1.
• Credits. Channel and video lookups charge 1 team credit each, and Generate Script charges script credits. Use Get Team Credits as a guard step before a credit-charging action.
• Async generation. Generate Ideas returns 202 with no job id — pair it with the Idea Created trigger or re-run List Channel Ideas. Generate Script returns a run_id; the Script Generated trigger is the clean way to wait for it.
• Ordering. Generate Script requires an existing outline; Subscribr's only guardrail is a 409, so the action turns that into a readable "generate the outline first" message.
• Triggers register themselves via POST /webhooks on enable and delete on disable. Subscribr requires webhook names to be unique per team, so each registration is stamped — two flows can listen to the same event without colliding.
