Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

CLI for sending Telegram messages.

SendKit lets you send Telegram messages directly from your terminal.

Installation

npm install -g @tb-eng/sendkit

Or run without installation:

npx @tb-eng/sendkit

Setup

Configure your Telegram bot token once:

sendkit init --telegram-bot-token <botToken>

The token is stored locally in:

~/.config/sendkit/config.json

Send a message

sendkit telegram <chatId> <message>

Example:

sendkit telegram 123456789 "Hello from SendKit 🚀"

Response:

Commands

Initialize configuration

sendkit init --telegram-bot-token <botToken>

Send Telegram message

sendkit telegram <chatId> <message>

Troubleshooting

Telegram bot token is required

Run:

sendkit init --telegram-bot-token <botToken>

Chat not found

Ensure:

  • The chat ID is correct.
  • The user has started the bot.
  • The bot has permission to send messages.
