Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

MiruroTV

Access miruro.to on your Samsung Tizen TV. Since miruro.to doesn't have a native TV app, this TizenBrew module lets you browse it with your TV remote.

What it does

Opens miruro.to in a browser on your Samsung TV
Enables TV remote navigation (arrow keys to browse)
Adds visible focus indicators so you can see where you are

Installation

Install TizenBrew on your Samsung TV
In TizenBrew module manager, add: @techytechster/miruro-tizen
Launch MiruroTV from your TV home screen
Use your remote's arrow keys to navigate, Enter to select

That's it!

No fancy features, no modifications to the site - just miruro.to accessible on your TV.

Development Setup

Only needed if you want to build from source:

# Install dependencies
cd mods && npm install
cd ../service && npm install

# Build
cd mods && npm run build
cd ../service && npm run build

Publishing to NPM

Package is published as @techytechster/miruro-tizen

To update:

Increment version in package.json
Run npm publish --access public from the root directory
