Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

TecSinapse Design System

Stars License Contributor Covenantbuild workflow

TecSinapse Design System is the hybrid implementation of the TecSinapse Design System. Our primary goal is to create a system that can be used to build a wide variety of TecSinapase websites and apps, while providing a consistent and inclusive user experience to our end users. In addition, the design system and component library should be easy to use for developers and designers.

Quick start

Here are a few helpful links for getting started:

  • Documentation - Learn how to use and view the components in Storybook.
  • Getting started - Set up a new app with our DS or add it to an existing project.
  • Design Principles - Discover the guiding principles behind design.
  • Theming - Learn about our foundations such as colors, spacing, and typography.
  • Contribute - File a bug report, suggest a change, or open a pull request.

Packages

| Package | Content | Version | | --------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------- | | @tecsinapse/react-core | the core hybrid React component library | npm version | | @tecsinapse/react-web-kit | the React component library focused on web | npm version | | @tecsinapse/react-native-kit | the React native component library focused on mobile | npm version |

Code of conduct

We want to foster an inclusive and friendly community around our Open Source efforts. This project follows the Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct. Please, read it and follow it.

If you feel another member of the community violated our code or you are experiencing problems participating in our community because of another individual's behavior, please get in touch with our maintainers.

How to make local changes available for other projects?

At times, it may be necessary to test changes directly in a product, and not in the design system, and for this to work in a less laborious way, we can follow the steps below:

3 terminal tabs should open:

  • In one run the JS code watch:
yarn build:watch
  • In another run the watch of the TS code watch
yarn build:declarations:watch
  • On another run yalc push (this script updates linked local projects)
yarn yalc:push

With that, all changes will be in yalc locally.

To access in your application, see this example in topic "Yalc link Design System:"
