Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

T3n stateless client - contract invocation and discovery over an API key or bearer token, with no session and no runtime dependencies

Readme

T3n stateless client

@terminal3/t3n-client calls a T3n node in one request, with no handshake and no session. The agent authenticates with an API key or an OAuth bearer token, and the node verifies it. The package has no runtime dependencies.

@terminal3/t3n-sdk re-exports invoke and the discover* reads with their option and discovery result types, parseContractResponse, the z-space wire helpers, the token units, NODE_URLS, and most of the error classes (T3nError, RpcError and the session, handshake and WASM errors). SDK users need not install the client separately.

With both packages installed, they must resolve to one copy of the client or instanceof fails across them: install the client version the SDK depends on, and don't put a newer client beside the SDK or mix the public client with the internal SDK.

Installation

pnpm add @terminal3/t3n-client

Usage

import { invoke, discoverWhoami, NODE_URLS } from "@terminal3/t3n-client";

const baseUrl = NODE_URLS.testnet;
const accessToken = "<oauth-access-token>";

// API key: sent as `X-T3N-Api-Key`.
const me = await discoverWhoami({ baseUrl, apiKey: process.env.T3N_API_KEY! });

// OAuth bearer token: sent as `Authorization: Bearer`.
const result = await invoke({
  baseUrl,
  bearer: accessToken,
  request: {
    contract_id: "z:<org-tid>:<contract>",
    contract_version: "1.0.0",
    function_name: "<function>",
    input: {},
  },
});

baseUrl must be https:; loopback hosts are exempt for local development. Transport failures throw InvokeError with a fixed message that never contains the credential or the response body.

Contents

  • invoke and the discover* reads (whoami, contracts.list, delegation.check, describe.contract, describe.function).
  • parseContractResponse for decoding a contract result.
  • requestToWire for projecting plain arguments into a contract's wire body.
  • formatTokens / toBaseUnits for token amounts.
  • NODE_URLS and the Environment type.
  • The T3nError family of error types.
