@test3-dev/sdk-core

Platform-independent Test3 HTTP client, evaluation snapshots, identity interfaces, and persistent event queue. No React, DOM, Bun, Prisma, or shadcn imports. Browser adapters are in /browser, injected AsyncStorage/AppState adapters are in /native, and request-time helpers and safe serialization are in /server.

React users should install @test3-dev/react, which includes this dependency.

ExperimentClient accepts apiUrl, publicKey, an identity.getSubjectId() adapter, a supported release manifest, and registered templates with content validators. start() loads persistent state, evaluates, polls, and flushes events. stop() removes lifecycle listeners and timers while preserving queued events. subscribe() and getState() support UI integrations.

Use trackExposure(decision) only after actual rendering, and track(goal, { eventId }) after a successful business action. The SDK adds receipts from actual exposures, preserves the original subject on queued work, deduplicates mounted exposures, batches up to 100 events, retries partial acknowledgments, and removes explicitly rejected events with diagnostics. Default bounds are 1,000 events, 1 MB, and seven days; defaults are configurable. Compatible subject/manifest snapshots expire after 24 hours. Evaluation timeout defaults to 800 ms.

evaluateExperiments({ apiUrl, publicKey, subjectId, manifest }) makes one authoritative /sdk/evaluate request without recording exposure. serializeSnapshot() escapes HTML-sensitive characters for an application/json script element. Personalized SSR output must remain request-scoped and outside shared public caches.

Public protocol types are included in the package and checked against the service's shared contracts during development. Build with bun run build, pack with bun pm pack, and install the archive to verify the published entry points.
