@topy-ai/ceo-mcp — TOPY.AI's AI CEO as a local MCP server
TOPY.AI writes and maintains founders' business plans and keeps their CEO records:
decisions, risks, growth experiments, investors, the founder journal. ceo-mcp gives MCP clients that
only run local servers the same tools as TOPY's remote server, https://topy.ai/mcp: it forwards
every message there with your sign-in, so the tools, previews and rules are identical.
If your client supports remote MCP servers (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor), connect to
https://topy.ai/mcp directly instead and sign in when asked — no package needed.
Set up
Sign in once on this computer (shared with ceo-cli):
npx -y @topy-ai/ceo-mcp login # opens topy.ai to approve this device (--read-only for reads only)or create a key under Dashboard → API keys and pass it as TOPY_API_KEY. Then add the server:
{
"mcpServers": {
"topy": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@topy-ai/ceo-mcp"],
"env": { "TOPY_API_KEY": "topy_…" }
}
}
}(Leave out env if you signed in with login.)
What the agent can do
Projects and ideas, business plans (generate, revise, fix a section, SEIS Advance Assurance, exports),
plan templates, and the CEO records. Reads run straight away. Anything that changes something returns
a preview first and only happens when called again with confirm: true and the preview's
confirmation — agents should ask you before that. Generating a plan spends TOPY credits; the preview
says how many.
A key with a standing permission (granted in the dashboard) lets a scheduled agent add certain records without a preview, up to a daily limit, and nothing else.
