@tracera/jest

Jest reporter and runtime for Tracera autotest.

Requires Node.js ≥ 22.19 and Jest ≥ 29.

npm install @tracera/jest

Setup

Bind

Import test / expect from @jest/globals, and tracera / annotations / skip from this package. Prefer test(title, annotations(id, name, fn)); or tracera.testCase in the body.

Skip

Stock test.skip, or mid-body skip(reason) from this package. The reason becomes a result comment.

Steps

tracera.step(title, fn), @tracera.step("open {path}") on class methods, or tracera.step("…")(fn) wrap ({name} / {0} from args, or a title function). Stock beforeEach / afterEach → Setup / Teardown; beforeAll / afterAll are not reported.

Parameterized

With test.each, put placeholders in the annotations name ({login}, {0}, … from the row). Retries: final attempt only; JEST_RETRY on Env when retry > 0.
