Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Tray.ai MCP Setup

Setup script for configuring the Tray.ai MCP server with Claude Desktop.

Quick Start

npx @trayio/tray-mcp

Follow the prompts to enter your Workspace ID and API Token, then restart Claude Desktop.

Getting Your Credentials

Workspace ID: Found in your Tray.ai workspace URL:

https://app.tray.io/workspaces/12345678-abcd-1234-ef56-0123456789ab/...

API Token: Generate in Tray.ai under Settings → API Tokens

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 14+
  • Claude Desktop installed
  • Tray.ai account with API access

Troubleshooting

Changes not taking effect? Restart Claude Desktop completely.

Invalid UUID error? Ensure your Workspace ID is in format: 12345678-abcd-1234-ef56-0123456789ab
