Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@treeseed/admin

v0.12.56

Published

Treeseed administration portal framework built on @treeseed/core and @treeseed/ui.

Readme

@treeseed/admin

@treeseed/admin is the distributable Treeseed administration portal for organizations. It gives a Treeseed site the authenticated admin surfaces for teams, projects, hosts, work, knowledge, catalog browsing, operational status, and secret-manager workflows.

Use this package when you want a Treeseed-compatible admin portal without taking on the Treeseed market site's public messaging, buyer checkout, or backend ecommerce implementation.

What You Can Build With Admin

  • Internal administration portals for teams and projects
  • Host and credential management surfaces
  • Knowledge and work management screens
  • Operational status and deployment control surfaces
  • Agent capacity allocation, provider session, assignment, mode-run, and usage views over API contracts
  • Catalog/profile browsing and seller commerce operations without buyer payment processing
  • Seller readiness, ecommerce monitoring, product governance, scoped-service operations, capacity listing review, and Commons steward operations through API facades
  • Admin integrations that can be layered into a host Treeseed site

Admin is not a UI component library. Reusable layout-down components and styles live in @treeseed/ui.

Install

npm install @treeseed/admin @treeseed/core @treeseed/ui @treeseed/sdk

The host application owns deployment and site configuration. In this workspace, the root @treeseed/market app is that host.

Use In A Treeseed Site

Add the admin plugin to the host site's treeseed.site.yaml:

plugins:
  - package: "@treeseed/core/plugin-default"
  - package: "@treeseed/admin/plugin"

Use the admin Astro config helper from the host app:

import { defineTreeseedAdminConfig } from '@treeseed/admin/config';

export default defineTreeseedAdminConfig();

Delegate middleware from the host app:

export { onRequest } from '@treeseed/admin/middleware';

Required Host App Setup

The host app must provide:

  • a host-owned treeseed.site.yaml when the app owns a deployable runtime surface
  • tenant config and environment values
  • public content and page overrides
  • deployment target and hosting workflow
  • API base URL or /v1/* proxy path
  • any tenant-specific branding or marketplace policy

@treeseed/admin does not ship a package-local treeseed.site.yaml and does not own hosting. The root Market app owns the Treeseed web tenant in this workspace; other packages may own package-local manifests only when they operate independently released runtime surfaces.

Routes And Capabilities

Admin contributes route metadata through:

import { ADMIN_ROUTES } from '@treeseed/admin/routes';

The route set includes admin application pages, auth pages, team invite acceptance, API proxy route metadata, and generic catalog/profile browsing surfaces. Host apps can override Astro pages through their normal Treeseed page override mechanism.

Admin route composition follows the current TreeSeed shell model:

  • /app/** pages use TreeseedAppLayout, which composes the UI shell primitives for authenticated app work.
  • /market/** acquisition/catalog pages use TreeseedOperationalMarketLayout, the authenticated operational market shell.
  • /auth/** pages use UI AuthShell.
  • /u/**, /t/**, /p/**, and invite acceptance pages use public/auth-appropriate layouts and must not show app team operations.

ProductShell and PublicShell are compatibility wrappers in @treeseed/ui; Admin pages should use the package layouts above rather than importing those wrappers directly.

Auth And Sessions

Admin owns reusable browser auth/session flow, callback handling, account/profile UX integration, and middleware composition. Backend service trust, persistent auth storage, and service credential validation belong in @treeseed/api.

Host apps provide deployment-specific secrets and provider settings through their environment registry and secret manager.

API Connection

Admin reaches backend behavior through API client facades and HTTP/proxy surfaces. It must not import backend implementation from @treeseed/api.

In the root market app, /v1/* is the web proxy to the API service hosted from packages/api.

Secret Manager Support

Admin owns the user-facing secret-manager experience:

  • provider selection
  • host credential forms
  • unlock/passphrase UX
  • linked manager status
  • diagnostics views

The public contract is exported from:

import type { TreeseedSecretManagerProvider } from '@treeseed/admin/secret-managers';

Provider mutation, secure read/write adapters, import/adopt/reconcile behavior, and target-specific sync belong in SDK/API primitives.

Agent Capacity Surfaces

Admin may expose allocation-set editing, project/agent-class capacity views, planning/acting splits, provider registration, provider availability sessions, assignment status, mode-run timelines, usage summaries, and blocker diagnostics.

The current capacity operator surfaces are:

  • /app/capacity/allocation for portfolio and project agent-class allocation.
  • /app/capacity/providers for provider registration, native capacity, grants, and lifecycle overview.
  • /app/capacity/runtime for read-only allocation-set versions, project agent classes, provider sessions, accepted capacity plans, synthesized or explicit assignments, assignment source/explanation metadata, and mode-run telemetry. The API facade also exposes decision readiness, execution inputs, capacity plans, and workday settlement summaries for focused operator drill-downs.

Admin does not own scheduling, assignment selection, provider runtime internals, or ledger settlement. Those belong to API, agent runtime, and SDK contracts as described in the root Agent Capacity Operator Surfaces guide.

Commerce Operations Without Buyer Checkout

Admin can display and operate seller-side commerce records through API client facades: vendor readiness, product registry state, offer/price review, sales summaries, refunds, fulfillment, cooperative ownership workflows, scoped service requests, capacity listing inquiries, seller monitoring, and Commons steward decisions.

The extension contract is exported from:

import type { AdminCommerceProvider } from '@treeseed/admin/commerce';

Admin does not implement Stripe Elements, checkout confirmation, Stripe Checkout Sessions, PaymentIntent creation, webhooks, invoices, buyer subscriptions UI, seller payouts, commissions, application fees, revenue splits, benefit payout allocation, capacity billing, provider execution, marketplace grants/reservations, or routing decisions. Authenticated operational buyer checkout and participant marketplace flows belong in the root market app. Backend state and Stripe server calls belong in @treeseed/api.

Extension Points

Public exports include:

  • @treeseed/admin
  • @treeseed/admin/config
  • @treeseed/admin/content-config
  • @treeseed/admin/plugin
  • @treeseed/admin/routes
  • @treeseed/admin/middleware
  • @treeseed/admin/commerce
  • @treeseed/admin/secret-managers
  • @treeseed/admin/lib/*
  • @treeseed/admin/view-models/*

Use package exports only. Do not import from packages/admin/src in host applications.

What Admin Does Not Own

  • reusable UI primitives or CSS tokens; use @treeseed/ui
  • generic Astro/Starlight runtime; use @treeseed/core
  • backend API implementation, PostgreSQL, migrations, or operations runner; use @treeseed/api
  • capacity provider runtime; use @treeseed/agent
  • buyer checkout, Stripe Elements, payout/commission logic, capacity execution, or backend ecommerce policy; use root market for authenticated operational marketplace/cart/checkout/service/capacity/Commons surfaces and @treeseed/api for backend state
  • TreeDX repository service internals
  • host app deployment manifest

Verification And Release

Package commands:

npm install
npm run build
npm run verify:local
npm run release:verify

Release integration:

  • treeseed.package.yaml declares the package repository and release gate.
  • deploy.yml is the hosted release gate workflow.
  • publish.yml publishes semver tags to npm.
  • GitHub repository credential: TREESEED_GITHUB_TOKEN_TREESEED_AI_ADMIN.
  • GitHub production environment secret: NPM_TOKEN.

See the root Package Ownership guide for cross-package boundaries.
