Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

TxFort: Security Shield

Protect your assets with TxFort. A MetaMask Snap that provides real-time transaction analysis and security insights before you sign transactions.

Installation

Visit txfort.com and click "MetaMask" to install the snap.

Usage

Once installed, the snap automatically analyzes transactions when you initiate them in MetaMask:

  1. Initiate any transaction in MetaMask
  2. The snap analyzes the transaction in real-time
  3. View insights in the confirmation dialog:
    • Method name and signature
    • Decoded parameters
    • Security warnings
    • Risk level indicator

Security

What the Snap Does

  • ✅ Reads transaction data to provide insights
  • ✅ Stores your API key encrypted
  • ✅ Makes requests only to TxFort API

What the Snap Does NOT Do

  • ❌ Cannot access your private keys
  • ❌ Cannot modify transactions
  • ❌ Cannot sign transactions on your behalf
  • ❌ Cannot access other websites or data

Permissions

The snap requests the following permissions:
