Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

CLI for Pi Mini Magic Context setup and diagnostics

Readme

@ufoq/mini-magic-context

The setup and diagnostics CLI for Mini Magic Context — a context-management extension for the Pi coding agent.

This package installs the mini-magic-context binary. It handles harness detection, extension registration, config scaffolding, and health checks. The runtime itself ships separately as @ufoq/pi-mini-magic-context, which setup registers for you.

Quick start

# Detect the harness, install the extension, write a default config
npx @ufoq/mini-magic-context@latest setup

# Target Pi explicitly
npx @ufoq/mini-magic-context@latest setup --harness pi

# Verify the installation
npx @ufoq/mini-magic-context@latest doctor

Pi must be version 0.74.0 or later.

Commands

| Command | What it does | |---|---| | setup | Interactive wizard: detects Pi, installs the extension, writes a default mini-magic-context.jsonc | | doctor | Checks extension registration, config validity, database integrity, and embedding reachability | | doctor --force | Same checks, then force-clears the plugin cache | | doctor --issue | Collects a sanitized diagnostics bundle and opens a GitHub issue | | doctor --clear | Interactive picker for clearing plugin caches |

Flags

| Flag | Applies to | Meaning | |---|---|---| | --harness pi | both | Target Pi only (default: auto-detect, prompt if ambiguous) | | --dry-run | setup | Preview the wizard without writing any files | | --version, -v | global | Print the CLI version and exit | | --help, -h | global | Print usage and exit |

Configuration

setup writes a mini-magic-context.jsonc. It is read from:

  • <project>/.cortexkit/mini-magic-context.jsonc — project-level
  • ~/.config/cortexkit/mini-magic-context.jsonc — user-wide defaults

The full schema ships with the repository at assets/magic-context.schema.json.

What's not included

Mini Magic Context is a focused subset of full Magic Context. Project and user memories (ctx_memory), notes (ctx_note), agent-driven reduction (ctx_reduce), the Dreamer maintenance agent, sidekick augmentation, git commit indexing, and the TUI dashboard are intentionally absent.
