Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Vidext Boost n8n node

Readme

@vidext/n8n-nodes-boost

This is the official n8n node for Vidext Boost. It provides n8n integration for Vidext Boost, allowing you to trigger workflows when a Vidext session ends.

Features

Trigger: Vidext Session End

This node allows you to trigger an n8n workflow when a session ends in Vidext Boost. The trigger provides data about the completed session, which can be used in your automation workflow.

Prerequisites

  • An active Vidext Boost account
  • An API key from your Vidext Boost account
  • n8n instance (version 1.0.0 or higher)

Installation

In your own n8n instance

Install this node package in your n8n instance:

npm install @vidext/n8n-nodes-boost

Then add the following line to your n8n .env file:

N8N_CUSTOM_EXTENSIONS=@vidext/n8n-nodes-boost

Restart your n8n instance and the Vidext nodes will be available in your workflow editor.

Configuration

API Key Authentication

  1. In your n8n instance, go to Settings > Credentials
  2. Click on New Credential
  3. Select Vidext N8n API Key API
  4. Enter the following information:
    • API URL: The URL of your Vidext API (default: https://vidext.ai)
    • API Key: Your Vidext Boost API key
  5. Click Save

Setting Up a Webhook Trigger

  1. Create a new workflow in n8n
  2. Add a Vidext - Session End Trigger node as your trigger
  3. Select the Vidext API credentials you created
  4. Configure the Deck ID parameter with the ID of the Vidext deck you want to monitor
  5. Save and activate the workflow

Usage

Once configured, the webhook will be automatically registered with Vidext. When a session ends in the specified deck, Vidext will send data to n8n and trigger your workflow.

The trigger node provides session data that you can use in subsequent nodes of your workflow.
