Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

# Global installation (recommended)

Usage

Install Skills Package

# Install to workspace (default)
claude-skills-manager install @waoooo/claude-skills

# Install globally
claude-skills-manager install @waoooo/claude-skills --global

# Install to current project
claude-skills-manager install @waoooo/claude-skills --project

# Short alias
csm install @waoooo/claude-skills

List Installed Skills

# List all installed Skills
claude-skills-manager list

# Show only installed
claude-skills-manager list --installed

# Show available from registry
claude-skills-manager list --available

Search for Skills

# Search by name
claude-skills-manager search git

# Search for specific skill

Update Skills Package

Uninstall Skills Package

Skills Locations

Skills are installed in different locations based on the scope:

  • Global: ~/.claude/skills/ - Available to all projects
  • Workspace: <workspace>/.claude/skills/ - Available to workspace projects
  • Project: <project>/.claude/skills/ - Available to current project only

Path Resolution

The CLI automatically detects the best location:

  1. If --global flag: Install to global directory
  2. If --workspace flag: Install to workspace directory (must be in a workspace)
  3. If --project flag: Install to project directory
  4. Default: Try workspace, fallback to global

Development
