Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@xapp/stentor-media-manager

A collection of MediaManager classes that track playback state (current track, offset, history) and playlist navigation (next/previous/first/latest) for the media types a Stentor app can play: PlaylistManager (generic playlists), LiveStreamManager/VideoLiveStreamManager (audio and video live streams), RSSFeedManager/ScanRSSFeedManager (podcast RSS feeds, via @xapp/stentor-service-rss-feed), and SocialRadioManager/OnDemandManager (social radio channels, via @xapp/stentor-service-social-radio). It also includes reporters (SocialRadioReporter, SimpleReporter) that implement ReportingService to report track starts, updates, and completions.

Usage

const manager = new PlaylistManager({ source }, history);
const playlist = await manager.load();
const track = playlist.next();

MediaManagerFactory in @xapp/stentor-handler-media picks the correct manager for a given handler/media type at runtime.
