Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@xebecship/config

v1.1.12

Published

The unified XebecShip toolkit. One install, all the tools.

Readme

@xebecship/config

The official engineering logistics toolkit for XebecShip. This package provides unified, high-performance linting, formatting, and TypeScript configurations to ensure code quality and consistency across all agency projects.

[!WARNING] Alpha Release: This package is currently in active development. APIs and configurations are subject to breaking changes until version 2.0.0. Use with caution in production environments.

📦 What's Included?

This is a Logistics-Only package. It manages the "rules of the road" while leaving the design and styling to the specific project needs.

  • TypeScript Presets: Optimized strict configurations for Node.js (ESM) and Vite (Frontend).
  • ESLint 9 (Flat Config): Modern, high-speed linting using the latest flat configuration standards.
  • Prettier: Unified formatting rules with automatic Tailwind CSS class sorting (via plugin).
  • Engineering Standards: Built-in enforcement of import type, clean consoles, and debugger prevention.

🚀 Getting Started

Install the toolkit as a development dependency:

pnpm add -D @xebecship/config

1. TypeScript Setup

Extend the relevant preset in your tsconfig.json:

{
  "extends": "@xebecship/config/<target>/tsconfig", // <target> = app | lib | node | sdk
  "compilerOptions": {
    "baseUrl": ".",
    // Project-specific overrides
  },
  "include": ["src/**/*"],
  "exclude": ["node_modules", "dist"]
}

2. Linting Setup (ESLint 9)

Create an eslint.config.js in your project root:

export { default } from "@xebecship/config/<target>/eslint"; // <target> = app | lib | node | sdk

3. Formatting Setup (Prettier)

Create a prettier.config.js in your project root:

export { default } from "@xebecship/config/<target>/prettier"; // <target> = app | lib | node | sdk

4. Pnpm Configuration (Required)

Create an .npmrc in your project root:

# Lift the CLI engines to the top level so they are executable
# Hoists all ESLint core, plugins, and parsers
public-hoist-pattern[]=*eslint*

# Hoists Prettier core and the Tailwind plugin
public-hoist-pattern[]=*prettier*
public-hoist-pattern[]=*prettier-plugin-tailwindcss*

# Hoists TypeScript for the IDE
public-hoist-pattern[]=*typescript*

# Ensures peer dependencies (required by React plugins) are auto-installed
auto-install-peers=true
