Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@zero-ar/cli

v0.5.0

Readme

@zero-ar/cli

Start, inspect, control and transfer Zero-AR work from a terminal. The zeroar command speaks only to the public API and prints the run id and next useful command after a mutation.

The npm package is a client. It does not contain or start the runtime server. Point it at an already-running hosted or Local Lite endpoint. The source-free Local Lite distribution carries its own command and runtime together.

A recorded Zero-AR CLI run showing its objective, admitted model, budget use, check verdicts and complete result.

Install

Node.js 24.11.0 through the Node 24 LTS line is required.

npm install --global @zero-ar/cli
zeroar version
zeroar help

First working example

Set the endpoint, read the application key without placing it in shell history, check the target and start a detached run.

export ZERO_AR_URL=https://your-zero-ar.example
read -s ZERO_AR_API_KEY
export ZERO_AR_API_KEY

zeroar doctor
zeroar run "Reconcile the open supplier records" --detach

The run command prints a run id. Use it with the commands that follow:

zeroar attach run_<id>
zeroar inspect run_<id>
zeroar verification-plan run_<id>
zeroar result run_<id> --json

ZERO_AR_API_KEY authorizes the application. Provider, tool and effect credentials are deployment bindings and do not belong in command arguments.

Public surface

  • run, attach, inspect, records, context and result.
  • steer, redirect, answer, resume, fork, replay and cancel.
  • Agent project initialization, validation and publication.
  • Run and publication export and import.
  • Source, capability, provider, environment and tool-source administration.
  • doctor, profile, machine-readable --json output and --no-color.

Run zeroar help for the complete command table. Run a command with incomplete arguments to receive a typed problem, its reason and the command that changes the outcome.

What this does not establish

A zero exit status means the command completed, not that an artifact is verified. Read zeroar result for the recorded verdict and zeroar verification-plan for the checks, evidence grades and limitations. A selected hosted endpoint never falls back to a local runtime.
