The installer automatically downloads & sets up everything that is missing on your machine:

✨ What it does

• Upscale any video: 480p → 1080p, 720p, 1440p, 4K, 2×/4×, or custom WxH — Lanczos / Spline / XBR scalers, aspect ratio preserved.
• RAW & lossless output — FFV1, uncompressed Y4M, Lossless H.264/HEVC, ProRes 4444, DNxHR 444. Not a single pixel lost after enhancement.
• SDR ⇄ HDR — expand SDR into 10-bit BT.2020 PQ with HDR10 signaling, or tone-map HDR sources down for SDR devices (auto-detected).
• Clarify — denoise (hqdn3d/NLMeans), deband, deblock, deinterlace.
• Shaders & effects — CAS (FidelityFX-style) sharpen, unsharp mask, film grain, color boost, motion interpolation to 60 fps.
• Links & embeds — paste a YouTube watch/embed/Shorts/youtu.be link (or 1000+ sites via yt-dlp) and convert straight to RAW/lossless.
• Local files — mp4, mkv, mov, avi, webm, ts, and more.
• Max compatibility mode — the superhd preset (H.264 CRF 16 + faststart) plays on virtually every device.
• Spec gate — requires ≥ 8 GB RAM for conversions (override with --force / Proceed anyway).

No pollution of your system Python — everything lives in ~/.aureus. Uninstall with npm rm -g @zetagoaurum/aureus && rm -rf ~/.aureus.
