Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Orion CLI

Autonomous AI agent for your terminal. Excels at coding, debugging, DevOps, data science, and asset processing (images, videos). Handles complex tasks on your computer with speed and precision comparable to Claude Code. With 200+ tools, Orion CLI delivers the same powerful capabilities as Orion Desktop.

Installation

npm install -g @zinley/orion

Usage

After installation, simply run:

orion

That's it! No need for ./orion or any relative paths. The orion command works across all directories—run from anywhere, no navigation required.

Multi-Agent Architecture

Orion can spawn 2-5 parallel sub-agents to tackle complex tasks simultaneously. Each sub-agent is a full Orion instance with complete tool access, working independently on different aspects of your project.

Capabilities:

  • Parallel code analysis across multiple modules
  • Concurrent research on different topics
  • Independent security audits across different domains
  • Multi-dimensional debugging and performance analysis

Red Team Review: For complex modifications (10+ changes), Orion automatically spawns an independent reviewer agent to catch errors, edge cases, and security issues before delivery.

Interactive CLI Integration

Orion can interactively use Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or any interactive CLI app—whether AI-powered or not. Just tell Orion what you need, and it will handle it seamlessly. No additional setup required—Orion manages the entire interaction with your favorite tools.

Browser Automation

The CLI now supports browser automation via the browser_use_agent tool. This allows the AI agent to:

  • Navigate websites and interact with web pages
  • Fill forms, click buttons, extract data
  • Perform complex multi-step browser tasks

Browser automation uses Patchright (Playwright fork) or system Chrome. On first run, the browser will be installed automatically via patchright install chrome.

  • Configure secure secret keys
  • Set up agent confirmation for sensitive actions
