Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

RTK (Reduced Token Killer) for Pi

Token-optimized CLI proxy hook for badlogic/pi-mono.

This extension doesn't re-implement RTK — it delegates to the RTK binary, making it lightweight and fast. You'll automatically benefit from RTK updates without needing to update this extension.

Automatically intercepts and rewrites bash commands using RTK, saving 60-90% tokens on common dev operations.

Installation

pi install https://github.com/zogzog26/rtk-pi

Prerequisites

Install the RTK binary:

brew install rtk

Make sure rtk is in your PATH.

Usage

When Pi executes bash commands, RTK will automatically intercept and optimize them.

Run rtk gain to check on your token savings.

Uninstall

pi uninstall https://github.com/zogzog26/rtk-pi
