Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

To improve performance in react redux applications

Installation

You'll first need to install ESLint:

$ npm i eslint --save-dev

Next, install eslint-plugin-react-performance:

$ npm install eslint-plugin-react-performance --save-dev

Note: If you installed ESLint globally (using the -g flag) then you must also install eslint-plugin-react-performance globally.

Usage

Add react-performance to the plugins section of your .eslintrc configuration file. You can omit the eslint-plugin- prefix:

Then configure the rules you want to use under the rules section.

  • Remove redundant running of useselector function. when passing inline or new reference created function on selector, it will run whenever component renders. we need to avoid it.

  • When passing entire props to global memoized selector via createSelector, it causes the memory leak.
