Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Zylora GPU platform TypeScript SDK — invoke serverless GPU functions

Readme

@zylora/sdk

TypeScript SDK for the Zylora GPU platform — invoke serverless GPU functions from any JavaScript/TypeScript runtime.

Installation

pnpm add @zylora/sdk
# or
npm install @zylora/sdk

Quickstart

import { Zylora } from "@zylora/sdk";

const zy = new Zylora({ apiKey: process.env.ZYLORA_API_KEY });

// Invoke a function
const result = await zy.invoke("my-embed-fn", { text: "hello world" });
console.log(result);

Authentication

The SDK discovers your API key in this order:

  1. Explicit apiKey option passed to the constructor
  2. ZYLORA_API_KEY environment variable
export ZYLORA_API_KEY="zy_live_..."

Usage

Synchronous invocation

const result = await zy.invoke("embed", { text: "hello" });

Batch invocation

const batch = await zy.batch("embed", [
  { text: "hello" },
  { text: "world" },
], { concurrency: 20 });

for (const item of batch.results) {
  console.log(item.index, item.result);
}

Streaming (for LLMs)

for await (const chunk of zy.stream("generate", { prompt: "Tell me a joke" })) {
  process.stdout.write(chunk);
}

Async invocation

const job = await zy.invokeAsync("long-task", { data: largePayload });
console.log("Job submitted:", job.jobId);

// Poll for result (blocks until complete)
const result = await job.result();

Client options

| Option | Type | Default | Description | |-------------|----------|----------------------------|--------------------------------| | apiKey | string | ZYLORA_API_KEY env | API key for authentication | | baseUrl | string | https://api.zylora.dev | API base URL | | timeout | number | 300000 (5 min) | Request timeout in ms | | maxRetries| number | 3 | Max retry attempts on 5xx |

Error handling

import { Zylora, AuthenticationError, RateLimitError } from "@zylora/sdk";

try {
  await zy.invoke("fn", input);
} catch (err) {
  if (err instanceof AuthenticationError) {
    console.error("Bad API key");
  } else if (err instanceof RateLimitError) {
    console.error(`Rate limited — retry after ${err.retryAfter}s`);
  }
}

Error types

| Error class | HTTP status | Description | |-------------------------|-------------|---------------------------------| | AuthenticationError | 401 | Invalid or missing API key | | InsufficientCreditsError | 402 | Account needs more credits | | FunctionNotFoundError | 404 | Function ID doesn't exist | | TimeoutError | 408 | Invocation timed out | | ValidationError | 422 | Invalid request body | | RateLimitError | 429 | Rate limit exceeded | | NoCapacityError | 503 | No GPU capacity available |

Runtime compatibility

Works in Node.js 18+, Deno, Bun, and Cloudflare Workers — uses the standard fetch API.
