Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Simple gradient picker, with no dependencies.

Usage

Configurations

  • initColors - array of colors and positions (default:

  • zIndex - zIndex of popup (default: 999)
  • isCustomColorPicker - if custom color picker is to be used; by default native browser one is used (default: false)

Add custom color picker

ab-gradient-picker color picker is independent and uses the browser's native one by default, just to make it more accessible, but you can easily switch it with one of your choices (recommended as not all browsers support properly input[type=color]).

In the example below we use a-color-picker just as the proof of concept

  • drag:start - started dragging the handler

API

Methods

  • setActiveColor(color: string) - change active color
  • getInputElement():HTMLElement | null - get color input element to override its behaviour. If isCustomColorPicker set to true there is just div with background color.
  • getActiveColor():string - get color of active stop
  • show() - show picker
  • hide() - hide picker
