AdFrolic universal installer

Detects the developer tool in the current environment and installs the correct AdFrolic adapter.

Use --all to install every detected, supported host or --host=<id> to select one explicitly. Supported IDs are claude-code, vscode, cursor, windsurf, opencode and jetbrains.

ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot and Gemini CLI are detected but deliberately not modified because their supported third-party APIs do not expose a reserved sponsored-content surface. In VS Code, Cursor or Windsurf, Copilot users receive the normal editor integration rather than an advert injected into Copilot output.

The installer backs up JSON settings before changing them. It never reads or sends source code, prompts, model responses, clipboard contents or terminal output.

Custom hosts can import the transport client from adfrolic. They must reserve a clear sponsored-content surface and call displayed and qualified only when the creative was genuinely visible.

Claude Code: two install paths, one bin

npx adfrolic install --host=claude-code wires Claude Code's statusLine.command to this package's own bundled implementation (adfrolic statusline). A separate, more extensively tested package, @adfrolic/claude-code-integration, does the same job under its own bin, adfrolic-claude-code — deliberately not adfrolic, so installing both packages globally never has one silently overwrite the other's binary.
