Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

magic bullet's magic angle can be used to precisely rotate frames or multiple frames at once, based on a complete rotation. magic angle allows you to apply simple rotations, as well as more complex manipulations with the control points. these point-and-click operations quickly give users control over how complicated it is to rotate multiple frames. magic angle also has a masking tool for selecting the areas that are outside the angle of rotation to preserve all of the pristine edges in the video clip. the number of control points that can be used in rotation is also configurable, allowing users to explore different rotation techniques easily.

bias lift, another feature in the magic lift and magic angle toolkit, makes it easy to adjust a clip for correct gamma and black level settings. bias lift lets users adjust the video content, while retaining the fidelity, so that, for example, an autofocused frame ends up having a perfectly set contrast without it having to be touched in post-production.

magic burst includes an innovative slider bar for precise exposure/brightness adjustments. when the user clicks on a point on the curve and moves the slider bar left or right, the highlighted area of the screen moves, which may be a problem, if the preview is anchored to a specific point. to retain the interactive property of the preview window, users can then drag any edges of the preview window to control the highlighted area and remove the anchor effect.

with mediareactor magic, users can create their own custom, time-saving, and easy-to-use tools for fixing most of their digital video editing projects. using magic, users simply select an area of the clip, along with any frame range of the clip, and preview how the adjustment will affect the entire clip at once. users can select either a preview window or a full-screen version with preview controls directly on the clip clip. 84d34552a1
