Validate Agent Skills SKILL.md files against the official specification.

Usage

npx agentskills-validate ./path/to/skill

What it checks

| Field | Validation | |-------|------------| | name | Required. Max 64 chars. Lowercase alphanumeric and hyphens only. Cannot start/end with hyphen. No consecutive hyphens. Must match directory name. | | description | Required. Max 1024 chars. Non-empty. | | compatibility | Optional. Max 500 chars. | | Frontmatter | Valid YAML format. No unknown fields. |

Output

Success:

✓ 有効: /path/to/skill

Failure:

✗ 無効: /path/to/skill
  - name は小文字である必要があります
  - description が 1024 文字を超えています（1200 文字）
