agm-ai-os
The official installer for AGM AI OS — the agentic AI operating system for your business.
npx agm-ai-os initYou need a license key (it is in your purchase email). The CLI activates your license,
downloads the template, verifies its checksum, sets up the AI harness adapters you choose,
and creates a git repository — then your own AI agent takes over with /onboarding.
The easy way: your purchase email contains a ready-made install prompt. Paste it into
Claude Code (or any agentic CLI) and your AI checks that Node and Git are in place, installs
whatever is missing, and runs the installer for you — non-interactively, via
npx agm-ai-os@latest init --key <your-key> --yes. No terminal knowledge needed.
Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| npx agm-ai-os init [dir] | Install into a new (empty) folder |
| npx agm-ai-os update | Download a new template version into updates/ — your files are never overwritten; your agent merges via /template-update |
| npx agm-ai-os doctor | Local health check: config, git, harnesses, guardrails, skill mirror, leftovers (--online also validates the license) |
| npx agm-ai-os harness list | Show active harness adapters (tier + guardrail status) |
| npx agm-ai-os harness add <name> | Activate another adapter: claude · codex · opencode · gemini · generic |
| npx agm-ai-os version | CLI + installed template version |
Privacy
The CLI sends only your license key (during init), a derived key id, an anonymous machine
fingerprint (a hash of hostname + platform) and version numbers. Your workspace, your
knowledge base and everything in them stay on your machine. The license key itself is
never stored on disk — only the derived key id in .agm-ai-os.json.
Requirements
Node.js ≥ 18. Works on Windows (PowerShell and Git Bash), macOS and Linux.
(No Node yet? The install prompt from your purchase email sets it up for you —
npx cannot run without Node, so use your AI agent for the first step.)
Development happens in a private repository; the npm package is the public artifact and
contains only the CLI (dist/ + bin/) — no template content, no secrets.
