Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

aisessions

Browse, manage, and analyze local AI coding agent sessions from one browser UI.

Supported sources include Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Pi CLI, OpenCode, Amp, Goose, and other local coding agents.

Usage

npx aisessions

Options:

npx aisessions --port 7879
npx aisessions --no-open
npx aisessions --help

The server binds to 127.0.0.1 and opens the UI in your browser by default.

Data

The tool reads local agent session folders such as ~/.claude/projects and ~/.codex. Trash and backup data is stored under ~/.aisessions.

Move sessions

Sessions can be moved between existing projects belonging to the same agent. Cross-agent moves are rejected and session IDs are preserved.
