Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Arm/Disarm Node for AJAX Security System

This node connects to the AJAX system's API, enabling you to arm or disarm a security system for a specific hub. The node accepts a string payload containing either "ARM" or "DISARM" to trigger the corresponding action. Upon execution, the node returns a response indicating the success of the action or the current system status.

Inputs:

  • payload (string): The action to be performed – either "ARM" or "DISARM".

Outputs:

  • Standard output : The response from the AJAX system, such as a success message or system status.
  • Standard error : Any error message encountered, such as a failure due to incorrect credentials or invalid parameters.

Required Fields:

Before using this node, you must configure the following fields:

  1. X Company API Key : The API key provided by AJAX support.
  2. X Company Token : The authentication token for the AJAX system.
  3. X Company ID : The ID associated with your company, available in the AJAX Pro desktop app under "Hubs".
  4. Hub ID : The ID of the specific hub to be armed or disarmed.

Instructions:

  • Obtain the X_COMPANY_API_KEY and X_COMPANY_TOKEN by contacting the AJAX support team.
  • The X_COMPANY_ID can be found within the AJAX Pro desktop app under "Hubs". Select the desired hub to retrieve its Hub ID .
