Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

alioss

A simple CLI tool for uploading files to Alibaba Cloud OSS with an interactive dashboard.

Installation

npm install -g alioss-upload

Or with bun:

bun install -g alioss-upload

Quick Start

# First run - will prompt for credentials
alioss

# Or set credentials manually
alioss set

Commands

Configuration

Option 1: Interactive Setup

alioss set

This will prompt you for:

  • Access Key ID
  • Access Key Secret
  • Region (default: oss-cn-hangzhou)

Credentials are stored in ~/.alioss-config.json.

Option 2: Environment Variables

export OSS_ACCESS_KEY_ID=your_access_key_id
export OSS_ACCESS_KEY_SECRET=your_access_key_secret
export OSS_REGION=oss-cn-hangzhou  # optional

Environment variables take precedence over stored config.

Usage

  1. Run alioss to start the dashboard
