Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Ignore errors in your code and keep it running.

Installing:

npm install anti-error

How to use:

const anti = require('anti-error');
anti.use(true);

// Optional: Show error details
anti.showErr();

Functions:

use(value)

  • Description: Enables or disables error handling.
  • Parameters:
    • value (boolean): true to enable error handling, false to disable it.

showErr()

  • Description: Enables the display of error details.
  • Usage: Call this function to enable the display of error details in the console.

log(message)

  • Description: Logs a message to the console.
  • Parameters:
    • message (string): The message to be logged.

logError(logPath)

  • Description: Captures unhandled exceptions and logs them to a file.
  • Parameters:
    • logPath (string): The path to the log file where errors will be logged.

getLastError()

  • Description: Returns the last error captured by the library.
  • Returns: The last error object captured by the library. Returns null if no error has been captured.

Example:

// Enabling Anti-Error
const anti = require('anti-error');
anti.use(true);

// Optional: Show error details
anti.showErr();

// ... Code

console.log(anti.getLastError());

This example demonstrates how to enable error handling, show error details, and retrieve the last captured error using the getLastError() function.
