Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

anze-invoice-gen

Simple CLI tool for generating invoices with customizable HTML templates.

Installation

npx anze-invoice-gen

Usage

Run the command and follow the interactive prompts:

npx anze-invoice-gen

The tool will:

  1. Ask you to select or add a customer
  2. Choose or enter a service
  3. Enter the invoice amount
  4. Set invoice dates (issue date, due date, service date)
  5. Generate both markdown (.md) and PDF files

Customization

On first run, a template.html file will be created from template.example.html. Edit template.html to customize your invoice design with your branding.

Data Storage

  • data/customers.json - Saved customers
  • data/services.json - Saved services
  • invoices/ - Generated invoices (.md and .pdf)
