Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Build AR scenes with the AI agent you already use: link a folder to an ARClip project, then verify, render, test and preview it from a terminal.

arclip

Build AR scenes with the AI agent you already use. arclip links a folder to an ARClip project, so Claude Code, Codex or Cursor builds the scene with the same tools as the ARClip editor — and checks its own work before it tells you it is done.

npm i -g arclip
arclip login # sign in once: in the browser, or with a code over SSH
arclip link <project-id> # in your folder: set it up for agents
arclip dev # a QR code — the live draft on your phone
arclip verify && arclip render -o shot.png
arclip publish # link + QR code, when you are happy

Node 20 or newer. arclip render --real also needs Node 22 and Chrome, Chromium or Edge. No Node? Standalone builds for Windows, macOS and Linux install with one command: arclip.design/cli/releases.

What you get

  • An agent that looks before it reports. arclip verify finds what saves fine but fails in the player, arclip render draws the scene on the server, arclip playtest runs the scripts and presses every control, and arclip test plays your scripted scenarios in fixed 1/60 s steps.
  • Your scene on your phone. arclip dev prints a QR code; the draft opens in the phone's browser and offers the new version after every edit.
  • Live with your team. The scene stays on the platform: the agent's edits appear in your teammates' editors as they happen, and theirs reach the agent.
  • Scripts and CI. --json on every command, exit code 1 when a check fails, and ARCLIP_TOKEN + ARCLIP_PROJECT instead of a login.
  • Signed in once. The login renews itself, also for a long-running agent. On a server over SSH, arclip login shows a code and a QR code to approve from your phone or laptop. arclip logout ends the session on the server.

arclip link writes .arclip/project.json, a CLAUDE.md with the agent's routine, and a .mcp.json that starts the ARClip MCP server pinned to your project — no token in any file.

Docs

docs.arclip.design/creators-engine/ai/cli — every command, the flow format, self-hosting with arclip export, and connecting other MCP clients.
