ares-vault
AI-powered file organizer. Drop it in a messy folder, let AI sort it out.
Install
npm install -g ares-vaultUsage
# Organize current directory
ares-vault
# Organize a specific directory
ares-vault ~/Downloads
# Dry run (preview only, no changes)
ares-vault --dry-run ~/Desktop
# Auto-execute (skip approval)
ares-vault --auto ~/DocumentsHow it works
- Scans your directory and shows all files
- Sends the file list to an AI model (OpenCode free models by default)
- AI decides the best folder structure — by file type, project, or logic
- Shows you the plan in a table
- You choose: execute all, pick specific actions, or cancel
