Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Argus SDK: recompute operator-independence verdicts locally from public chain data, verify on-chain attestations, and dedupe ERC-8004 reputation by operator.

Readme

argus-x402-sdk

Check whether wallets are independent operators, and how much ERC-8004 reputation is real. Everything is recomputed locally from public Monad chain data: verify, don't trust. No wallet address is sent to an Argus server.

npm install argus-x402-sdk
export ENVIO_API_TOKEN=...   # free HyperSync token: https://envio.dev/app/api-tokens
import { createArgus } from 'argus-x402-sdk';

const argus = createArgus({ network: 'mainnet', hypersyncToken: process.env.ENVIO_API_TOKEN });

// 1. Is this payer one of a fleet? (recomputed locally)
const v = await argus.checkWallet('0x971E94Fed75A8f527566206E68D85e52F050C6D1');
v.tierName; // 'Linked'
v.reasons; // ['First USDC funder also seeded 9 other wallets', ...]

// 1b. Many wallets at once: a handful of chain queries however many there are
await argus.checkWallets([walletA, walletB, walletC]);

// 2. Does a published on-chain verdict agree with the chain?
const check = await argus.verify('0x971E94Fed75A8f527566206E68D85e52F050C6D1');
check.matches; // true

// 3. ERC-8004: how many operators are behind an agent's reviews?
const rep = await argus.agentReputation(182);
rep.raw.distinctClients;   // 7665 reviewers
rep.independent.operators; // 1
rep.clientAllowlist; // one reviewer per operator, minus the owner's own fleet: pass to getSummary(agentId, clientAddresses, '', '')
rep.ownerLinked;           // { operators: 1, clients: 7665, share: 1 }: the agent's owner funded its own reviewers

Verify payers in your x402 seller, with no Argus server

import { createArgus, localResolver } from 'argus-x402-sdk';
import { argus } from 'argus-x402-middleware';

app.use(argus({ /* ... */ resolver: localResolver(createArgus({ network: 'mainnet', hypersyncToken })) }));

localResolver batches wallets that arrive together into a few HyperSync queries and never makes a request wait.

Command line

npx -p argus-x402-sdk argus-x402 reputation 182          # ERC-8004 reputation, deduplicated by operator
npx -p argus-x402-sdk argus-x402 reputation 182 --sample 800
npx -p argus-x402-sdk argus-x402 check 0x...             # operator-independence verdict
npx -p argus-x402-sdk argus-x402 verify 0x...            # published verdict vs local recomputation

What it reads

| Need | Source | | --- | --- | | Funding history | Envio HyperSync (USDC transfers for x402 payers, native MON for ERC-8004 reviewers) | | Published verdicts | The PayerAttestations registry on Monad (any attestor; you choose whom to trust) | | ERC-8004 feedback | The Reputation registry on Monad (NewFeedback, FeedbackRevoked) |

Funding is traced through direct transfers; a wallet funded through a contract shows no inbound transfer and counts as independent. Verdicts say "shares a funder", never "fraud".

Part of Argus. MIT.
