Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

AskZeus

AskZeus is a node CLI to get weather info directly inside your terminal. CLI Screenshot

Installation

You need to have node & npm installed. A global installation is required.

npm i askzeus -g

How it works

This projects require you to get a free API key from openWeatherMap(https://openweathermap.org/price), the free key lets you call the API 1,000 times a day. You can set the key as follows:

az --apiKey <key>

Usage

az -c Amsterdam

Gets you Amsterdam weather data.

az -c Amsterdam -d

Gets you Amsterdam weather data and set Amsterdam as a default city.

az

Gets the weather data for the default city.

az --system <system>

Set the unit system, can be either metric or imperial.
