Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Astro Daisy Theme Toggle

Component to add a dark and light theme to your AstroJS and DaisyUI project.

License: AGPL v3

Bundle size

  • Use any DaisyUI theme
  • If an invalid theme is used it will default to DaisyUIs dark and light theme
  • Use with or without AstroJS View Transitions
  • No Flash of Unstyled Content
  • Use with any DaisyUI theme controller

Installation

  1. Install Tailwind CSS
  2. Install DaisyUI
  3. npm install astro-daisy-theme-toggle

Usage

  1. Import the DaisyTheme component. It takes two props. darkTheme sets the dark theme and lightTheme sets the light theme. The component must wrap around any DaisyUI theme controller. Theme controllers have a value prop that can be removed or left in place. It will be ignored.
