Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

AI-powered GitHub PR/Issue reviews from the command line using Recursive Language Models (RLM).

Quick Start

# Review a PR
npx asyncreview review --url https://github.com/org/repo/pull/123 -q "Any security concerns?"

# With JSON output for scripting
npx asyncreview review --url https://github.com/org/repo/pull/123 -q "What does this PR do?" --quiet --output json

Requirements

  • Node.js 18+
  • Python 3.11+ (auto-detected)
  • Gemini API Key (prompted if not set)

API Key

The Gemini API key can be provided in three ways (in order of priority):

  1. --api <key> flag
  2. GEMINI_API_KEY environment variable
  3. Interactive prompt (if neither above is set)

# Using environment variable
export GEMINI_API_KEY=your_key

GitHub Token (For Private Repos)

For private repositories, you'll need to provide a GitHub token. The token can be provided in three ways (in order of priority):

  1. --github-token <token> flag
  2. GITHUB_TOKEN environment variable
  3. Interactive prompt (optional, if neither above is set)
