Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Atlarix CLI — an AI coding agent in your terminal

Atlarix is an AI coding agent by NorahLabs. The CLI is the same agent as the Atlarix desktop app, in your terminal: it reads your project, plans, edits files with a diff you approve, runs commands in a sandbox, and reviews and debugs code. Your sessions, models, API keys, MCP servers and automations are shared with the app.

npm i -g atlarix
atlarix

Other ways to install: curl -fsSL https://atlarix.dev/install | sh (macOS, Linux), irm https://atlarix.dev/install.ps1 | iex (Windows), brew install amariahak/atlarix/atlarix, or winget. The CLI updates itself.

What it does

  • Works in any folder. Run atlarix in a project and ask: "fix the failing test", "explain the auth flow", "add a health endpoint".
  • Five work modes. Build, Explore, Plan, Debug and Review (shift+tab switches).
  • Any model. Atlarix Auto and the Atlarix Core models, your own API key for any provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, OpenRouter and more), or a local model with Ollama or LM Studio.
  • Nothing changes without you. File edits show a diff to approve; shell commands run in a per-OS sandbox.
  • Sub-agents and background work. Hand independent tasks to sub-agents; follow and stop background commands from the strip above the prompt box.
  • Relics. Ask for a report, plan or design as a shareable page.
  • Batch mode for CI. atlarix run --prompt "…" runs one task unattended and exits; it is what powers the Atlarix cloud agent in GitHub Actions.

atlarix opens your browser to sign in; atlarix login --device signs in from a machine without one. Your own API key or a local model works without an Atlarix account.

FAQ

What is the Atlarix CLI? An AI coding agent in your terminal. Run atlarix in a project folder and it plans, builds, reviews and tests code with you; atlarix run does one task unattended, for CI and scripts. It is the same agent as the Atlarix desktop app.

Which models does it work with? Any: Atlarix Auto (picks the model for each kind of step), an Atlarix Core model, your own API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, OpenRouter and many more), or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio.

Is it free? Yes. You pay only for Atlarix-hosted models; your own key and local models cost nothing on Atlarix's side.

Does it share anything with the desktop app? Its sessions, models, API keys, MCP servers and automations, so you can start in one and continue in the other.

Can it work while my computer is off? That is the Atlarix cloud agent: ask from Slack or the web, and it runs in your repository's own GitHub Actions and opens a pull request.
