Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Preview diagrams and flowcharts by mermaid library.

Installation

In Atom, open [Preferences > Install], and search the package with atom-mermaid. Once it found, click Install button to install the package.

Manual installation

You can install the latest version manually from console:

cd ~/.atom/packages
git clone https://github.com/y-takey/atom-mermaid
cd atom-mermaid
npm install

Then restart Atom editor.

Usage

Preview

right click and select [Mermaid Preview]

or

select menu-bar[Packages -> Mermaid Preview -> Toggle Preview]

or

ctrl + option + o (Mac) ctrl + alt + o (Windows probably..)

About markdown syntax, Please see Flowchart , Sequence Diagram and Gantt Diagram

Export

right click on preview tab and select [Save As PNG]

Requirements

This package is using native module node-gyp . but, there seems to faile to install the module. If you failed to install, please install the module with reference to the following page. https://github.com/nodejs/node-gyp

Todos

  • [ ] show snippet. e.g.) when types graph TD; , show A-- foo -->B[bar]\nB-.->C((baz))
  • [ ] styling. Bigger diagram, font,, etc
