Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Bad Takes creator kit

Builds Bad Takes scenes headlessly — made to be driven by Claude. One-time setup (installs the Claude skill and checks the helper tools):

npx badtakes-creator setup

Then tell Claude Code: "make a scene from this video — slice the dialogue into lines per character." You get back a .zip — drag it onto the Bad Takes window and the scene is in your library. Everything runs locally; videos are never uploaded. Run npx badtakes-creator --help for the command list.

This kit is MIT-licensed. The Bad Takes app itself is proprietary and not part of this package.
