Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Intro

Raspberry pi controller drink maker to reach ballmer's peak.

The concept of Ballmer's peak stems from the xkcd article where it point in which you have had enough drinks to be at your programming peak. After another drink it is downhill and productivity is hindered.

Getting Started

Initial setup run npm install to start the script run

node server.js

If you want to develop locally ( without rpi, use the mock option mock ) to simulate gpio actions

node server.js --mock

Troubleshooting

For errors like

Error when trying to open pin 16
gpio-admin: failed to change group ownership of /sys/devices/virtual/gpio/gpio23/direction: No such file or directory

run gpio-admin export 16
