Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

It is a CLI tool to simplify video processing jobs.

Features

  • Batch clip videos. It allows an infinite number of clips to be clipped at once from one video.
  • Extract audio from all video files in a parent folder.

Setup

  1. Install ffmpeg (and ffprobe).
  2. Install this package globally.
  3. Use bpv help.

Sub Command Notes

Clip

The file (-f option) should have the following format for each line:

00H:00m:10s-00H:02m:10s-descriptionforclip

Some video players, such as VLC (shortcut Ctrl+T), can help you get the time.

Alternatively, you can use this format:

00:00:10-00:02:10-descriptionforclip
