Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation & Game start

npm i battleship-game -g
battleship-game

If you don't want to install this game globally you can do the following:

git clone https://github.com/ricardofbarros/battleship-game.git
cd battleship-game
node bin/game.js

Settings

Board settings

  • Dimensions: Configure the game board size

Only "square" dimensions allowed, 10x10, 9x9, 8x8, etc.

  • Pretty Board: Emojis on/off

If your terminal doesn't support emojis you should turn this setting off.

Units quantity

Configure how many units should be in the game.

You can easily add custom units to the game by editing this file.

  • Make peer-to-peer game session
  • Different Npc Levels (easy, medium, hard)
