Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Berget CLI

A command-line tool for interacting with Berget AI's infrastructure and AI models.

Installation

npm install -g berget
# or use directly with npx
npx berget --help

Authentication

Before you can use the CLI, you need to authenticate:

# Login with OAuth
npx berget auth login

# Create an API key
npx berget api-keys create --name "My CLI Key"

# Or use environment variable
export BERGET_API_KEY=sk_ber_your_api_key_here

Chat Command

Basic Usage

# Interactive chat session
npx berget chat run

# Use specific model

Development

Setup

Clone the repository and install dependencies:

git clone https://github.com/berget-ai/cli.git
cd cli
npm install

Test Locally

Use the start script to test the CLI locally with the --local flag:

npm start -- <command> [options]

For example:

npm start -- auth whoami

# Test with debug output
